Damage formation and force analysis of barrels

Abstract The barrel is one of the important parts artillery. At same time, when firing, bore needs to withstand high temperature and pressure powder gas as well impact friction projectile, different damage forms such cracks, wear dechromium on will appear. However, main reasons for error firing accuracy, it can even cause other security risks. In this paper, common formation force tube body during were analyzed, so further estimate life provide a basis structural health monitoring key components.
